Shifin Gearz Magazine's Club of the Month for August 2008 is S.R.A.D. from Fayetteville, North Carolina! Check out the Straight From the Throttle Interview that was done by SGM exclusively with the club!

Shifin Gearz Mag: So tell SGM Readers with this being your 5th year anniversary what is the greatest struggle you all overcame to make your club survive this long.

S.R.A.D.: All that belongs to this type of community are dedicated individuals who do this for the love of the sport. And we all know that when you truly love something you are willing to make Sacrifice's for it. But the hardest part for us was finding a Team that fits. People that can agree to disagree, and still love each other, and at the end of the day we have that team.

Shifin Gearz Mag: Tell us about the diversity amongst the members and how they all work together to reach a common goal.

S.R.A.D.: S.R.A.D. M/C is a Brother/Sister Motorcycle Club that has come together to share our love for riding and helping our communities flourish. We cater to all nationalities and beliefs as long as you can ride or have an interest!!!!! With this type of diversity we are able to better interact with all surrounding communities.

Shifin Gearz Mag: What motivates SRAD to give back to the community in this fast paced MC world?

S.R.A.D.: Community service is our main goal. We love to ride but our first love is giving back to the community. It's always great to team up with other organization with the same values.

Shifin Gearz Mag: Notice that you are apart of NCUBA, give the SGM Readers your view about the association.

S.R.A.D.: NCUBA has promoted unity throughout the MC community and enhanced opportunities for all riders.

Shifin Gearz Mag: What advice would you give a new club just beginning?

S.R.A.D.: Recruit a good quality Team and don't worry about numbers!!! Bigger is not always Better!!!!

Shifin Gearz Mag: How does SRAD feel about some of your members along with the club being nominated 5 times for the prestigious SGM Biker's Choice Awards?

S.R.A.D.: We are very honored to be nominated for these awards and looking forwarded to being apart of this award show.

Anniversary Party Update!
ShifinGearz Magazine represented at SRAD's 4th Anniversary party held in Fayetteville, NC at the Clarion Hotel on Aug. 16th. SRAD was dressed out as sailors aboard the USS SRAD. The party kicked off with a performance by a local artist and ended with introductions of the club's members. Some of the clubs who came and showed support to SRAD were K9 and K9 Too MC, Real Brothers Rydin MC, Beloved Sisters MC, and Dogg Pound MC all out of Fayetteville. Some traveled from as far as Georgia.
