last 5 years. Bikers With Heart Foundation (BWHF) has partnered with the
Martin Luther King Foundation (MLKF) fundraising to offset the 18
million dollar shortage currently being faced by the MLKF to meet the
construction/operational funding of the Martin Luther King (MLK)
Memorial scheduled for completion on the Washington, DC Mall in 2008.
Both organizations have agreed to work as one to put into effect a
fundraising and awareness campaign among the 8.8 million motorcyclists,
enthusiasts and various commercial entities that make up the motorcycle
community.
